Iana Dreyer, Founder and editor

Iana is the founder and editor of Borderlex.eu. Before founding her publishing activity, Iana worked in think tanks, writing on trade and energy policy in Brussels and Paris. She has worked for the European Centre for International Political Economy, and the Institute Montaigne and the EU Institute for Security Studies. Iana has also worked for the Financial Times group and has trained in journalism. Iana is a graduate from the School London School of Economics and Sciences Po in Paris. Iana is currently based in London.

Hermine Donceel, Brussels trade reporter

Hermine Donceel covers trade policy news out of Brussels. Hermine joined Borderlex early in 2017 when the company took over the Brussels trade news service ‘EU Trade Insights’ from its previous owner.  Prior to her experience tracking trade news around town, Hermine spent ten years in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. There she worked on EU-ASEAN trade for the European External Action Service and on climate policy as a private sector consultant. Hermine has also worked with the Commission’s directorate-general for trade and an NGO in Brussels. Hermine graduated from the London School of Economics, the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Université Catholique de Louvain.
