The European Parliament’s international trade committee meets in Brussels. The agenda includes: Exchange of views with Jean-Luc Demarty, director-general of the European Commission, on EU-US trade relations as well as a debate on INTA’s opinion regarding transatlantic ties; a hearing on EU-Latin America trade relations; a discussion on implementation of the trade agreement between the EU and Colombia and Peru; a debate about the cooperation agreement on partnership and development between the EU and Afghanistan; an exchange of views on the negotiations for a deep and comprehensive free trade agreement between the EU and Tunisia; presentation of a study “How to include ‘Mode 5’ services commitments in bilateral free trade agreements and at multilateral stage”.
